Welcome to Studio 411.
Come on in.

What’s the 411?

Studio 411 is your place to bring your music to life. To capture a singular vocal performance, a jaw-dropping guitar solo or a sublime group harmony. To hear your creation come together in a mix you love listening to over and over.

I'm Tim Curran, producer, mixing engineer and owner of Studio 411 — an uncommon recording studio that is the realization of all of my musical passions: songwriting, production, performing, recording and mixing. Add to that my collaborative sensibility and you've got a creative space that caters to like-minded songwriters, artists and composers.

Studio 411 offers you:

  • Full song/project/album production: I can produce, record and mix your tracks.
  • An à la carte menu: If you just want a final mix, send me your tracks and I'll get to work; we can also record your tracks here and you take 'em with you to mix yourself.
  • An affordable alternative with all the tools, gear and talent to make your music sound great.
  • Composition, arranging, drum programming, co‑writing and more.
  • A cool, comfortable and uniquely creative studio vibe. Plus, delicious seltzers!

If any or all of that sounds good to you, let's get your project on the books today. Email me below or DM me on Instagram.

About Me...

Studio 411

As the proprietor, producer, recordist and mixer at Studio 411, I bring a laundry list of skills, spanning the spectrum from art to craft. I've spent 20-+ years as a composer, writing for film, TV and advertising and in styles that range from orchestral to jazz, country to punk, Broadway to rock and roll.

On top of that I've always been a songwriter, instrumentalist and live performer.

In doing all those things, I realized early on that beyond creating the music itself, I really love producing, recording and mixing it.

And out of that combination of skills, enthusiasm and experience, Studio 411 was born.

and What I’m About

I'm about collaboration. I'm about working hard to meet creative challenges with humor, humility and candor.

I'm about serving your music, giving it exactly what it needs, always remaining keenly aware that while I take a lot of pride in my work, it's ultimately your work.
